About

I'm a tech enthusiast who enjoys learning about distributed systems, optimising them, and exploring tools and techniques to improving their reliability, performance, and security. This blog is where I share lessons learned, and best practices from the trenches. Occasionally, I also write about other topics that capture my curiosity beyond tech, such as mathematics, finance and the markets, and life lessons or general ideas.

In my free time, I enjoy expanding my knowledge and technical skills by working on various projects, keeping up with the latest cybersecurity trends, conducting data analysis, and automating toil.

I am certified in cyber forensics and incident handling and analysis through the GCIH and GCIA, as well as holding multiple certifications from Amazon Web Services.

Outside of work and technology, I have a passion for running, competing in capture the flag and code-breaking tournaments (occasionally making write-ups for them), and playing video games - currently addicted to ETS2.

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
